Products are placed on the conveyor either by an operator or a robot. Once in position, they are automatically scanned, measured, and weighed. The system then sends the product dimensions to the next station, where a custom-sized box is produced.
To optimize cardboard usage, the machine utilizes two widths of endless cardboard to create a wide range of box sizes.
At this workstation, a precisely sized box is created. Thanks to its unique design, the packaging is highly durable, preventing items inside the box from shifting or being accidentally damaged.
Custom-sized boxes help optimize cardboard usage and eliminate the need for void fill materials.
Items and the invoice are automatically placed on the reinforced bottom of the box.
